After the Navy, Bill worked for Burroughs (now Unisys Corp.) for 15 years as a computer field engineer and technical support for large military and IRS computer systems. He was on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for years — the phone never quit! Bill did. In 1979 Bill started his turkey call manufacturing business. It took him about three years to design the patented Moss Double tone Turkey Call. Since that time, the company has experienced tremendous growth and production has increased to meet the demands of our customers. Moss Double Tone also makes special, custom and personalized calls from many types of wood from around the world. Turkey calls are not Bill's only claim to fame. He also produces a wide variety of other quality wood products such as display boxes and other special order items. He truly knows how to bring out the beauty and sensibilities of wood in his creations. Bill has been happily married to Nancy for 27 years and they have a son and a daughter. His pets have included Labs, Pointers and most recently a Brittany. During his leisure time he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, snow skiing, electronics, computers, billiards, family and friends. Bill's turkey gun is a 3" 12GA gas operated, cutoff to 22", fitted with screw-in choke (full), red dot zero-parallax, 1x scope with everything camo-taped. He uses 3 inch, 2oz. #5 shot, 4 drams equiv., buffered, copper plated shot and backed up with #4's loaded to the teeth. He never shoots at anything outside of 40 yards. The most unusual
